What is collected
Through the form on this site you give us your name, phone number and the text of your enquiry. Together with the enquiry we keep technical details: the language of the page, the address of the page the form was sent from, and how you reached the site.
We ask for nothing else. Copies of documents, scans and files are not accepted through the site.
-
Why it is needed
There are two purposes: to contact you about your enquiry and to assess whether we can take your case.
The data is not used for mailings or advertising. We do not pass it to third parties and do not sell it.
-
On what basis
The basis for processing is your consent. You give it when you send the form. Nothing leaves your browser before that.
Sending the form is not required: you can call us or come to the office without it. The way consent is obtained is set out in the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On personal data and its protection” [ст. ___].
-
Where it is stored and who has access
Enquiries arrive in the firm’s working spreadsheet and at the email address given above. Access is held by the lawyers and staff of the firm who work with enquiries.
The spreadsheet and the mailbox run on Google Workspace, so the data is stored and processed on that company’s servers, including outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. By sending the form you also agree to that transfer.
If this is not acceptable to you, call or write to us without the form.
-
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for [срок хранения заявок] and are then deleted.
If an agreement is signed following the enquiry, the case documents are kept separately from enquiries, and their retention period is set by the agreement.
-
Your rights
You have the right to find out what data about you we hold, to require it to be corrected, to withdraw your consent and to require the data to be deleted. The list of rights is set out in the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On personal data and its protection” [ст. ___].
To exercise any of these rights, write to the firm’s email address given above. Consent is withdrawn by the same letter. Once it is withdrawn we stop processing and delete the enquiry. There is one exception: data needed to perform an agreement already signed.
-
Legal professional privilege
What you tell us when seeking legal assistance is covered by legal professional privilege. We do not disclose it to third parties, including the very fact that you approached us.
This applies whether or not an agreement is signed, and it is not limited in time.
-
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies and uses no counters or analytics systems. The pages make no requests to external services: fonts, images and styles are loaded from our own domain.
The external addresses on the site are only links to maps and social networks. Following them is your decision and falls outside this policy.
-
Changes to this policy
The policy may change: for example, if a new way of receiving enquiries appears or the place where enquiries are stored changes.
The current version is always on this page and its date is given below.
